Merry Christmas!!!

Yes I am alive...............

...just, and have popped my head back up for a bit of air after falling of the face of the earth....things have just been crazy, exhausting, emotional, and just a little bit to much some days the last while. But I am getting there. I havent made a card in I dont know how long, but I have started weening myself slowly back to my desk by making little packets of reindeer food! The kids are all excited about santy coming, remember those days, I feel some nostalgia coming on! Maybe in the new year I will feel a bit better and brighter and even a little bit more creative, so until then, lots of festive hugs, mandyxx

this was my take on this weeks challenge. I made this for my sister, its to hold all the little bits she has from the hospital after she had her little girl "Lizzie" who is now with the angels.

Late night makes

..............deep breath I made christmas cards last night, for any of you who know me knows that I dont do Christmas cards at all, and find it very hard to even do Christmas. But I sat myself down last night and got cracking, I actually enjoyed it, but I still dont like the cards I have done, dont know what it is about me and christmas craft stuff, just cant get it, though BASIC GREY WASSAIL is the exception lol!! .....that I love, but that is about it. So to make finish off the 5 cards I did get done, I also made a tilda card! Tfl, mandyxx

I spend most of today standing in a stream, and I loved it, a little gem of a walk only up the road, it was the most magical & peaceful place I have ever been, it is called the Holy Well, apparently famous, 2 appearences from the virgin mary, so they say. I only found out about it a while ago, people have come all over the world to visit. I dont know what is was about the place, I am not religious at all, but it was something else, there was something different about it, I can not describe it, it felt like it hugged you, I would have stayed standing in the stream picking up stones all day!...not a sound except running water, how lucky am I to have such an amazing gem of a location on my doorstep, took these pics with my mobile phone! tfl, mandyxx

It has been so long since I made a tag, so I decided to sit down last night and make one, forgot how quick they are to make! Used some BG blush paper scraps that I had saved, a chipboard swirl, buttons, flowers and a vellum butterfly stamped and cut, calendar stamp is one I picked up from Crafteire at the Midlands monthly crop. Wonderful day

I had the most wonderful day yesterday at the Midlands Craft Club monthly crop, first one I got to attend! We made a gorgeous mini book, using basic grey, Crafteire shop was there too to supply goodies for our stash addiction! Had a great giggle with all the girls and met some new people too, great day was had by all, thanks for organising it Sandie! These little bits and pieces FELL into my craft tote too before I left!

Halloween - Boo!

This is the card I made for the Sept competition over on CardznScrapz, we had to use Basic grey, papermania or doodlebug products. This is what I came up with, mostly basic grey, I just cant help myself with that stuff lol!!! Love the colours, this got me in the mood for Halloween too, LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween, cant wait! Flowerpot Man!

2 weeks.............

since I last posted, shame on me, things have been so crazy here and I havent been too well at all. Finding my feet now this week, and recovering from marathon card making sessions at my DoCrafts demos! So I am just a little bit all crafted out, a first LOL! I hope to get to make some LO's tomorrow, havent touched my September kit from scrap room yet, shame on me. But looking forward to having a play with it. Sorry I havent posted up anything, hope I havent bored you all off and that you pop back for some peeks, hugs, mandyxx

sad weekend

yes its my cats again, they give me so much pleasure but when something happens, it devastates me, I need to stop loving them so much, because it hurts when they are gone. It has been a horrible weekend, on friday I should have checked under my car when I went to pick sophie up from school, its was bucketing down, and one of my ickle kitties, "Willow" had taken shelter under my wheel arch, think you can all guess what happened next, it was one of the worst moments of my life, I went into auto pilot, picked him up and moved him, didnt want sophie to see that when we came home. I havent been able to tell the kids, I took them out for icecream on saurday and philip buried him under a tree in the garden, beside our other putty cats. Deep breath more was to come..... philip found our funny boy "George Eile", dead on the road this morning, he had been hit with a car. Just cant take anymore of this, its too cruel.
