Cupcake monday!

Painted this today, happy the way the crackle turned out as the frosting on my cupcake!

Superhero brother

Not at all what I had planned to do for today, was meant to do a card actually!!! This pic has been sitting on my desk for ages now, so finally decided to bite the bullet and I am actually happy the way this one turned out, I am very critical of my LO's, they never seem right quite to me, on the other hand everyones elses alwasy seem to be so gorgeous. I am working on sample cards using some gorgeous new stamps a talented friend of mine has designed and made!!! They will be launching soon, so watch this space. I have soom lovely cards done, but I am keeping them underwraps until the big reveal. Later though I plan on making something "just because" to prove I am still creating!!! Hugs, mandyxx

A crazy week!!! Kids off school, and I got nothing done, I did manage though to create my first paper bag album with the guidance of Sandie, I am going to use this for pics of the kids birthdays, I love the colours of the basic grey cupcake range, so colourful and happy. I am not finished it yet, still have to embellish and work on the cover too, and I plan on doing that today out in the garden, as it is another gorgeous day!!! tfl, mandyxx

My News!!!

Philip got down on one knee on Saturday in the place we first met and asked me to marry him!!!! I was speechless I did not see it coming, its the most beautiful ring with a special storey. I am so happy.

Fridays Card Challenge

Yet another I hear you say lol! Again between Sandie and myself! I have used Elsie "Claire" again, I am getting great mileage out of these papers, but they are so yummy, how could you not? I used my rubons on acetate and then mounted them to the card using foam pads, just to give it a bit of 3D ness, and again sketch is from Katarinas wonderful collection!!! Tuesday and its raining again :(, it is suppose to brighten up a bit later, so fingies crossed!! Got all my housework jobs done this morning, so I had some time to sit down a make a card, in the morning too, never happened before LOL!!! I used a sketch I had used for a challenge last week and had yet another play with Basic Grey ( I am having a serious addiction with this paper, love it!)

Tuesday LO Challenge

Set by Sandie AGAIN! LOL!!!! my turn tomorrow I think! Anyhoooooo I used a photo we took on sunday and tried to take it from there using the sketch that sandie found for us. I used Scenic route, bobunny, ki memories and sentiments are by K&Co, a good mix of my favorites there, finish off with a pin and button. This did not photograph well, the colour of the pink paper has been lost, but hey you get the jist of it. Tfl, mandyxx

Addicted to paper!!!

God ya gotta love paper, not only can you make cards, LO's but the list of possiblities are endless, you can create so much, all those beautiful colours, designs, textures, just sends me into a frenzy!!! Anyhooooo here is a frame, made from MDF, that has been decorated with gorgeous paper, and finished off with some blossoms. Still deciding on what pic's of the kiddos to use in it!!!
