hi ladies, another wednesday yet again, hope you all had great week. 

I have sorted out my blogging problems...woohoo!!!!!!

I use firefox as my browser, so I switched over to the dreadful explorer..still nothing...so then download google chrome, and eh voile I can now visit you all and leave comments!

here is my messy desk this week, and its a mess I am not ashamed of :)  tim products everywhere,  happy days! I haven't a clue what I am making, I just started playing with grunge and a board, so we will see what comes of it :)  

ok for those who dont like the whole twilight thing, look away now!  as you know I am addicted and dont want to be cured, I have a new addition to my posters!  wonder what I am going to do when I need a breaking dawn poster, I have no more wall space left......yikes!......aint he lovely :)

righto I have so much to do today, wish I didn't, but the food shopping fairies are on strike so I have to face tescos alone today :(...............and the bank................and the post office............doctors............blah!!!!!!!!

 but when I get home this evening I will be pouring a glass of red and will be swinging by all your lovely spaces!  hugs m xx

I forgot to share

my new books! sometimes this auld head does not work!  philip came home from work last week with these as a surprise, a beautiful copy of alice in wonderland and through the looking glass, complete with the beautiful tenniel colour illustrations, to say I LOVE this book is an understatement, it was my all time favorite when I was little, reading it over and over again, I only wish my mother didnt get rid of it when she cleared the attic out before moving, breaks my heart that my old loved copy is out there somewhere, would love to have it so much.  

and if that wasn't enough of a surprise seeing alice.... I pulled out this book from the waterstones paper bag too............

needless to say the man did good, he knows me so well, thank you baby!

my finished project from my desk on woyww

here she is, the gorjuss girl you all saw on my desk yesterday, I have made a little hanging sign for philips auntie sue, I used her favorite quote!  loved playing with my treasured websters paper pack, was perfect for this project!  

secondly I made a quick card for a friend who is moving into her new home tonight, we are all going around for tea and cakes :)

here it is.......... yes thats another Gorjuss girl project....I know I am addicted, I cant help myself!  I am still having a problem with leaving comments, unless you have a pop out comment window I cant leave one!  I am sorry I dont know why that is happening the last while :(  so Cardarian, Julia all my lovely WOYWW friends I have been by your blogs and tried to leave messages.  I am wondering if I am going to have to switch and start a new blog over on Wordpress!  happy snooping ladies! hugs m xx

altered frame

this frame was rescued from my mother in law's charity shop bag, she was green, so I gave her a couple of layers of white paint, and created a little piece using another "gorjuss" girl......I am addicted.....I did tell you all that!  thanks for looking, hugs m xx

here she is, this little lady I started on saturday, I got her finished yesterday evening.   she is a present for my lovely mother in law linda, whos birthday was sunday, she loves alice in wonderland, I am going to deliver her later, hope she likes her! hugs m xx

a mini mixed media

I was soooooo inspired by Suzanne Woolcotts art journal page, you can see it here,  that it got me up and I started painting!  I used everything that I love, buttons, gorjuss stamps, paint, distress inks, tim stamps, buttons and vintage book papers.  I am going to make a little hangey thingey to attached to this piece, so I can hang her over my desk, hugs m xxx

whats on your workdesk wednesday

I made it! finally I get to play along this wednesday, oh ladies I have sooooooooooooo missed you all and all the fun of WOYWW, I have missed your desks, your creations and our friendships, I am so happy to be back this week!

I had a fit yesterday and re arranged my desk yet again, I wonder will I ever get it right and have everything to hand and pretty at the same time?? me thinks it aint going to happen!

you can see some fan wheel/flower/dollie thingies on the left with butterflies on them, these are going to be put on sticks and placed in a flower pot, will post a  pic when I get them finished today :)

I really hope blogger has stopped playing up on me and that I can get to leave you comments, I tried again to leave a few comments for my followers but no joy, blogger would not cooperate :(  I must go through all my blog settings and make sure nothing has changed.  I Really hope I can get to visit you all, if you dont get a comment please know that I visited you and tried, hugs m xx

I have been trying to leave everyone who has visited me the last while a comment on their blog, but when I click to add my comment and select my profile it just disappears!!!!!!!!!  I have copied & pasted, nothing is working!!!!  So please please dont think that I am being rude, I am trying to swing by and let you all know how much your comments over the last while have meant to me, thank you all so much, they so lifted my spirits xxx

a little lady in red...

...............yes your eyes are not decieving you, I made a card, can not remember how many weeks have passed since I have made one.  this little lady I have named "flo", she reminds me of florence and the machine with her red hair, a colour I soon hope to have my hair when I scrape some funds together.  I coloured her using my distress inks and used basic grey paper, hugs m xx

hey my lovely blog friends, I am still here, just about.  I have been ill and in hospital, I am home now and trying to recover & cope.  It has been a very difficult few weeks, things got so dark, but I am slowly starting to come out good now bit by bit.  

I havent done anything crafty up until last night when a few good friends came to visit me, we all sat around and had a little play session with loads of lovely chat and loads of chocolate!  I started on a card, but have just to add a few more bits to her and hopefully will get to share her with you this weekend.

whats on your workdesk wednesday, week 50

I made it this week, yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I so missed all you girls last week, I really did!  here is my desk/mess again this week,  you can see a new pic of edward cullen, dh printed it off for me last night, aint he the bestest!  and I bought a sugar nellie stamp at a lovely craft day on saturday that I have been eyeing up for over a year, so I sat down yesterday and got her all coloured in!  my friend thinks she look like lola from charlie and lola  the kids programme (which I LOVE to watch!), and I do think she is right!  I am going to make a card with her today.  looking forward to catching  up with all you woywwers and your desks!  have a happy wednesday, hugs m xx

played with memory glass this evening, using an image from one of my favourite artists emily at the black apple, I just adore these so so much.  I created her using, lace, prima flower, vintage french paper and ranger memory glass and frames, have a lovely sunday evening, hugs m xx

a birthday gift & card

 ....I made these this week for a friends birthday, but could not share them with you until now, as I gave them to her this morning.

we had a wonderful day of crafting and classes today and some amazing shopping too!

make a wish book

...........I made this little book using my favourite cosmo cricket journal squares, they are so pretty and I filled it with little quotes and sayings that mean something to me....it is a mini book with a personal purpose.   I havent had time to play at woyww this week, going to miss you girls, but I will try to pop by and say big hi, hugs m xx

all in a row.....

........house garland, I found a pic on katydiddys blog and got hit right between the eyes with my crafty mojo, so I had to get up and create it, although there is a wonderful tutorial on lauras blog for this, I went in blind with my papers, card and stamps,and made up my own templates. I chose to use the bluehill & rose garden papers from papermania as they matched the batch of felt roses I made last friday perfectly. I also got playing with my black and white pens to draw the windows and doors, taking inspiration from my paper artsey stamps.......so here she is hanging proudly in my hall :)

unexpected bargains

were had today.....was so delighted.....and how on earth did I ever survive without pink glue!!!!! I didnt even know it existed.........nearly had a heart attack in the aisle at tescos!!  and the gorgeous notebook, which is an a5 size and a bargain at €1.90!! so I bought 2!  I also picked up this cutlery basket for 4 quid, bargain! which I wont be using for cutlery but for craft stash! so thats me done for the day, off now to pretend to do housework and lash pizza in the oven! hugs xx

happy wednesday peeps :) 

hold onto your seats ladies it is another messy one from me this week...........so here we go all you lovely WOYWW's.  I do believe I have craft tools and chocolate in there somewhere, and maybe even a cat!  it is like a game of "where is wally" at the moment.

I will talk you through it ladies (I keep having to throw my head over my shoulder to have a look at the mess, my pooter is the far side of the room....whiplash!)

ok first up is the desk.....in the little bowl there is pink, blue and white felt flowers that I made on friday night, I turned a few of these into hair clips, oohhh and I found my missing chocolate, thats my breakfast sorted!  Then we have a blank bird house which I am covering in cosmo cricket paper.

and up goes the camera to show you the top of the drawer unit thingies.  a couple of you ladies asked me about the photo collage so I hope you can see her in all her glory, I decided to create one big canvas using my favourite applet prints. link to the lovely emilys shop is here.

I realised that I never showed you  how I store my stamps, the white boxes hold my clear stamps, as does the boxes and baskets that you can just see in the end of the picture, there are boxes under the white table thingie that I dont use that often.

finally, at last I hear you all scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I will finish on something quick I made this week, its above my pin board, it is a frame off a clock that I broke the other week, so I decided to keep the frame part and all its inner bits (for tim moments), I used my favourite sassafrass paper and a quote from the lord of craft himself  holtz, and eh voile wall art!  (and erm..... yes that is more chocolate beside the glass jar and fudge too, can you tell I have a problem???)

I love love love these papers from pink paislee, had a little play today!
