crafty creations challenge, week 43, cracked glass

this week over on crafty creations we got to playing with a cracked glass effect on our project...loved this, and now cant stop!  so do pop over for a some inpiration from use the design team and join us to be entered in with the chance to win some yummy digi stamps!

.....this is a photo saturated post, its of the few bits and pieces I have made over the last week and a half...the little green crochet pouch thing is for an ipod......I am having a craft identity crisis at the moment, unsure of what I am creating in a desperate attempt to make sure that they are unique to me and not just the usual stamped image, patterened paper and copic marker fad....dont get me wrong on this please, there are some beautiful works of art using these products everywhere, its just me who is not getting it at the moment...and that been my crisis, it could all change again next week lol!

weekend card

November all ready

...just cant believe that...and now the christmas madness will begin, not my favourite time of year....the shock...I know I know I can hear you all gasp lol!

I have 3 projects to share with you, one is a card for my design team position on crafty angels, using a lovely sketch by kate, and then I made a card and christmas card last week too.

bank holiday monday delights

2 creative items to share with you today, one is a frame I altered and made up for my bathroom using white paint, laura ashley fabric, felt and buttons, just love buttons, cant get enough of them! and a slice of cake for this weeks crafty angels challenge.....off now to get going on a LO, it is a nice quite lazy bank holiday monday, the weather is really bad, so some tea and crafting is in order! bye for now, hugs xx

craft marathon

well it is for me, I have be making like a mad woman the last few days, it all came in one big burst, fingers crossed my mojo will hang around for a little while because I have still loads to do!

Crafty Creations & Paperplay

this week challenge over on Crafty Creations is "blue" so I made these little atcs.

all the girls where over last night for a crafting night and cake eating session, I should have been getting on with my paperplay challenge for today but it was just not happening for me last night, could not get it to come together on time, so after some house cleaning and soup making this morning I sat down and got it finished! this weeks challenge was for you to use your favourite embellishments.


stash recipe: white pearlescent black card stock, basic grey porceline paper pack, martha steward punch, papermania punch, tattered rose distress ink pad, basic grey brad, stickles, magnolia stamped image, watercolour pencils, key charm and white organza ribbon.

Crafty Angels Week

this is my entry for Crafty Angels Challenge blog this week, I made this little birdie house, just adore these little things, have them everywhere!!

forgot to add this one to the other post! Made this the other day to display a dress belong to my daughter Sophie, I just adore this dress and couldnt part with it away or storing it. So I decided to distress a wooden frame, added ribbon, rubons and some pearls. I also added some lace to the dress too! think I have remembered everything now! nite nite xx

I have been a bad blogger of late, so apologises. Should be back to normal here next week, fingers crossed.

wil share a few bits of what I have made over the last week or two, firstly its Crafty Angels Challenge time of the week today, so this is the card I made. This weeks challenge was set by Kate, and we were to do some distressing. Papers are from Laura Ashley and magnolia stamp.

this frame, just BG Mellow papers was for Crafty Creations last wednesday.

and this is a paperplay challenge from a few weeks back, it is a little milk carton that I made, and it is the perfect size to hold a terrys chocolate orange!

good news...

to share with you all!.....I have been asked to be Part of the Design Team at Custom Crops! Yaayyyyyyy so excited about this! So I am now a fully fledged Custom Crop Designer!
Really looking forward to getting started!
