and I finally got my crocheted tcosy finished.....philip says it reminds him of bagpuss!

..just a quick one, wanted to share something I stumbled across this morning, while hopping around blog land with my morning coffee ( I was really waiting on the kids to brush their teeth!!)  anyways on my cyber travels I found a pic of a LO from the Hambly booth at this years CHA.............

I did nearly spit my coffee out...spooky similar of what!...either I inspired (which I doubt)  but probably a coincidence! anyways I thought I would share!

I am still sick here too (and thank you all so much for your get well messages xx) tablets not working to well, so another visit to the doctor is on the cards...I have not been near my desk at all,  it is starting to buckle at the legs as it has become the place where you plonk something down that you havent got a home for yet!! not a pretty site! my time is spend under a blanket in the corner of our sofa crocheting and making toadstools!  when I am feeling better I will take some pics!

easter egg basket & bunting

I have been sick since weekend, lost my voice and I am on a load of medication for it :(  I just wanted to share an easter basket that I made and some bunting using some of my daughters old tshirts!!!!  I am very behind on my challenges, I hope to have them done when I feel a bit better and catch up with all you lovely bloggers, I feel I have neglected you all and not been able to visit you to see what you are all up too and leave some sweet comments, I am sorry.xx...righto off I head again I am due my next dose of medicine! big hugs m xx

anyone for anya

the lovely ladies at anyone for anya asked me to join them as guest dt for 2 weeks...yay!! thanks girls, this is the little lady that I made!  we had to do something with our creation that we dont normally do.....mine was to not ink edges................it was so hard.....I always ink my edges...it felt so odd! and I coloured my little dorothy with pencils..minus the water...another hard one!  and as you can see I am at the blue & red again.....I cant help myself!!!! dont forget to pop over to see the other gorgeous cards they lovely ladies made!  have a lovely tuesday, hugs m xx

little birdies and stitching...

hello crafters..'.tis that time of the week again for us to play at crafty creations.

this week we got to play with some beautiful little birdies from stamps & smiles, boy are the cute!  there are some yummy stamps up for grabs this week too so do be sure to swing by!  on top of theses little cuties we had to add stitching to our creation, so a double bonus all round as my sewing machine is up and running and I have been sewing anything that stands still long enough! 

kiddos are on midterm this week, so I am not getting much done creativity this week! and I have some little news to share I will be appearing as a guest designer over on anyone for anya from next week for 2 weeks, so looking forward to that!

I made this little lady and finished off a cute little sleeve for my coffees!...think I will make more of these, enjoyed sewing again!  sick house here too, kids and mammy....so its perfect for crafting and leaving the housework :P

hello peeps, my turn this week to set the challenge over on crafty creations, and it is to use wings on your project....I made this little card for my daughter sophie who is 6 today....cant quite believe how fast that has come around, only feels like such a short time ago since she was born

have some house reorganising to do today so have to get myself going to do that!   I will share this with you before I head off, I forgot to post it last week, it is a box frame I altered for sophie to put in her bedroom.............( and mammy wants one for her room too!!)

and she made a card.................I spend 2 whole days clearing my desk and trying my best to reorganise myself and my craft stash..........with no money in the pot to go out and buy some uber perfect storage I had to use what I had...so I think I have everything to hand that I need and all grouped together.  I have yet to get repairing my sewing machine....I feel so lost without it......and I have a vintage chair that will be my seat of creativity, that is going to get a makeover on wednesday when I get to buy some paint!

I made this little card with this weeks stamp something challenge in mind.....cherry magnolia papers and a cupcake house mouse!

what else have I too share................I am working on a crochet blanket, some more fabric stitching too, baking, my paint is finished and I have my handmade craft goodies on route to aj in america as part of the skunkboy craft swap.....I loved this swap sooooo much, you would not believe all the amazing talented that there is out there in our little world.....breathtaking!

my first 2010 card - mojo monday

................finally, at last, something happened yesterday (what I do not know)  I made a card...yes you read that right!  my mojo put in a appearence yesterday and boy was I excited to see it!!  fingies and everything crossed that it sticks around so I can get my crafty creations challenges done!

I made this card using a lovely sketch over on mojo mondays challenge blog and off course if I was going to be making my first card of 2010 it just had to be done with a Gorjuss Girl......I will never tire of these stamps, my fav stamps in the whole wide world!

snowed in monday

hi all! hope you are all doing ok.  it is snowing  here in ireland.....snowing all the time...since last week and temps in the minus figures.....the govenment announced the schools stay closed till thursday, so the kiddos are climbing the walls as too is momma!!  we cant go anywhere because once will get the car finally out of the drive and down the hill there is now chance of getting back up....so I well and truly have cabin fever!  so much so that I have a headache and cant face doing anything craft wise, I did manage to start painting again........havent painted since I had the kids, I used to paint all the time, day and night.  this painting is definately a mixed media one, as I have mixed my love for paint with my other passion PAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have also been crocheting too, its perfect because I dont have to sit at my desk to do that I can sit curled up by the fire!!!

I dont have time just this minute to forward it on,  but I will do this week xx.

Happy new year!

wow what a christmas! how are you all doing? hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!  I feel like I have fallen off the planet....I did not go near the computer at all over the holiday season...I was all crafted out too so my desk is feeling a little abandoned..will have to give my stash some tlc over the next few days and get playing.  but first have to face a mountain of housework, washing, and decoration removing!!
