hello!! hope this post finds you all well my crafty followers :) here is a card I made with 6 pages for a class the other night, we played with the gorgeous happy days collection from papermania, love this stuff!!!!

Hello, do you remember me?? The girl who use to make stuff??!!! I have been a bad bad blogger, been finding it so hard to find time to blog creative things lately, actually I have been finding it hard to find time for anything at the moment and I don't really know why, kids are on summer hols and climbing the walls, but not all day, don't what is taking up all day, its not Pinterest either as I gave that up, I lost hours!! So please forgive me, I have been lost!  

I thought I had already shared this card I made a while back, but going through my recent (ok...oldddddddd posts) I did not see it, so here she is, a summer card I made for a challenge, I hope it perks you up and brings some sunshine to you cos boy do we need it at the mo, it has done nothing but rain here since May and it is making us all depressed.

Papers are from October Afternoon, MME Miss Caroline, Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two, Amy Tangerine Die-cuts, and Waltzing Mouse stamps :)

pimp my thickers

hi all! this is a result of a playing session a while ago with the american crafty diy thickers from create with kate here, I so love these there is so much you can do with them, had right auld fun playing to see what would come of them, I will definitely be using these on more scrappy layouts!

the ingredients I used to pimp my alphas are: festive berries distress ink pad by tim holtz (2 coats)

cosmic shimmer mist in scarlet mist (few spritz's!!) and finally finished with a sprinkle of clear glittered glass (loads of!) = pretty pimped alphas!!

wedding deep frame canvas

finally finished our canvas, I started it weeks ago and had put it aside so I could finish some other projects.  so yesterday I was in the mood to craft so I got it finished.....there is alot of prima going on here, I got carried away! hope your all creating away in this rotten weather

mini canvas created with prima "en francais" paper collection and prima bicycle clear stamp :)  I also played with ranger antiquities verdigris embossing powder along the edges of the canvas xx

altered mustard tin

hello!  sharing an altered tin that had contained mustard from tesco's, decorated with prima paper, flowers, pins and general prettiies things. I changed the tin colour with splodges of alcohol inks too :)  thanks for swinging by, hugs xxxx

hello!! how are you? hope you are all well.  creations the last while with me seem to be a feast or a famine, so sorry!!!  I have some quick make cards that I put together using october afternoon sidewalk collection.

hello all, hope you are all well and happy.  we had a lazy sunday here yesterday and I had an overwhelming urge to put paint on paper all day, so after all that had to be done in the house (or as much as!!)  I had an hour to spare before "call the midwife" started on bbc1 last night, new favorite programme, hope it doesn't end soon, anyhoooooowwww I grabbed a sheet of watercolour paper (leftovers) and made myself put down some colour and pencils lines, without thinking about it, and boy was that hard.  I realise I don't create enough because I over think, I think too much about what I am going to do, paint, or make and need to just get on with it, and what happened surprised myself.  I manage to create a little painting and messily done too ( I definitely over think and try to be neat when painting, this is stopping now!!) she/aka green haired girl appeared so quickly on the page and I was done with her layout and coloring in within the hour, result..happy days...........I am definitely painting like that again :)

so I sat down with coffee in hand at my desk this morning waiting on the kids while they fought, shouted and basically killed each other trying to get ready for school (mornings are pure stress here!!)  and I spotted my painted lady from last night, so in a moment of stress and escape I decided I wouldn't just put her away in my folder, I was going to use her, make something of her and make a video................so kids off to school I parked my bottom done and got on with it and this is the result :).............amazing what stress and some get up and go does for ya, hope you enjoy it, first time editing a video so hopefully I will get the hang of it and get to share more, have a great day, hugs xx

p.s   distress watercolouring video didn't happen last thursday as I ran out of the watercolour paper I use for the inks and picked up the wrong replacement one in the art shop....arrgghhhhhh.......will be watercolour paper shopping on saturday ....sorry !

new configuration

hi blog/crafty people, hope you are well and staying warm, it is so cold here, it seems the weather is going backwards and all over the place at the moment.  

I finally finished another configuration, I have created a video instead of taking lots of photos.  I really need to make more of these, I forgot how much I enjoy them, configuration boxes I mean not videos!  although I am running out of space to store any more creations around the house at this stage.... big hugs take care xxx

sophies 8th birthday card and wedding note book

hi!!  I am back with some more makes at last, below is sophie's birthday card which was saturday, created using a magnolia stamp and one of my most favorite paper collections of all time, "romantique" from prima, there are no words for how much I love this paper range, its perfect...in my eyes anyway!

and the next make is a little diary and pen I covered so I can scribble down wedding thoughts, needless to say I didnt do much scribbling!!  off today to finish putting my configuration box together, hopefully I will be back with that tomorrow...if I can keep my bottom in the craft seat long enough!

crafty stuff

..............yes I made stuff......I actually made them before christmas, thought it was about time I shared them :)  I have been going through a shaker stage.  I use to make them all the time, I was fascinated by them.  I don't know how my love for them died off,  maybe I just over did it!!  but it was rekindled, I was so inspired by lollyrot 7, they lovely maria, I got to glitter and glass playing...........and of course I just had to shake a gorjuss girl up too!!!  hugs xx
