I made it as a chicken soup chef!!!!!!!!!!!! whooohooooooooooooooooo, happy dance :) so over the moon about this, I am so excited & happy to be working with such a talented bunch of ladies :) looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting stuck in with glue & paper!  you can visit the lovely chicken soup blog here for inspiration and challenges :)  hugs xx

whats on your workdesk week 69

hello woyww'ers, hope you are all well :) my desk is actually tidier than it has been in the last 2 days, this is me half way through sorting it!  I have a docrafts demo this saturday so I have to repack my tote with their products and get some more samples done.  I have stuff everywhere!  once I get packed and finish samples the tour of Ireland will begin, starting in drogheda, and ending in dublin, hope my poor car holds up!  

looking forward to getting around all your desks later, first though the dreaded tesco visit looms, as we are like mother hubbards here today, must get food in :(

technology let me down this weekend boooooooooooo!!! great big craft extravaganza

...is here upon us! starting today, there will be 60 classes spread out over the whole of the weekend :)  I am leaving at the crack of dawn in morning, hitting the road for athlone, co.westmeath, were I will be playing with hanging signs and gorjuss girls :)  if you are in the area, pop in an say hi, there is free crop space available to all that stop by plus loads of gorgeous shops to please your stash appetite :)  will be blogging from the road with some pics :)  have a lovely weekend, off now to do the final packing xx

pink to make the boys wink

this is my first card in ages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  and its all out pink as it is for a little girls birthday, so I can be forgiven :) this little anya is colored in with distress inks.

flower dress

I have created another dress, these are so addictive, my mind is already buzzing with ideas for a whole series of them! might even get creating a little wardrobe to store them in!  

we are having a very lazy sunday in this household today, dont you just love those, so off to enjoy doing nothing :) have a lovely sunday, hugs xx

this is the creative product of my prima kit that I received from crafty alley in killarney.........I love love love love love this kit, did I say I loved it!  I spend days pulling it out of its bag and just stroking it and looking at it in awe :)  I knew I could keep this up for months, so to stop myself & stop that fear I have of taking a scissors to papers I adore there was only one thing for it and that was to start cutting and scoring........first score hurt (ok ok I just couldnt cut the paper, head hanging in shame, so I did this scoring project...to break myself in you see!) but I then got into the swing of it!  that done I decided it was time to scrap our engagement photos.........two years after the event!  at this rate I have a chance of organising a wedding in maybe the next 20 years I reckon, I am shockingly bad :)

few cards

...........super quick post and super quick makes, I went to get two cards from my box of cards and it was empty! empty I tell you!! I a card maker have ran out, could not believe it!  so I had to make some super quick ones, one is gone in the post & the other one is following today, I did'nt have time for colouring an image, so I used a melissa frances sticker on the pink/blue one and a stamped image from crafty individuals that required no work apart from a bit from distress stickles.....I feel like I have cheated, I feel like I have'nt really made a card at all.....very weird!  hope you have a lovely thursday bloggers, I have hair to dye here...I spy handfuls of greys peeping out taunting me..evil little suckers.... and housework to get finished.  the girls are over tonight for a crafting session so I am so looking forward to that, some proper play time!  happy thursday, big hugs xx

a weeks creations

morning :)  I have a quiet house here today, kids are back at school, so I am going to sit back and soak up the silence here today :)

I have a layout to share with you, one I started on saturday evening and got finished last night, I have been wanting to scrap this pic of sophie for ages and the usual happened it just got left in my pile! so after a rummage through my stash and a play with my printer settings this is the finished piece.  I would like to find somewhere in her room to display this, but there is so much in there already I will be struggling!

dorothy tag book swap finished tags

they are finished, and I am happy with how they turned out, isn't it amazing how we can have a clear idea in our head of what we want to make and then when we get going creativity takes us down a completely different path......well these tags are point in case, not at all what was in my head.  

I am going to be sending these little tags on their merry little way across the atlantic to stop at karla's lovely cottage, where there they will be turned into books and I will receive a completed tag book back to treasure, so excited and looking forward to seeing it :)

halloween bunting

hello!  have some bunting to share with you today :)  this has been finished since last week, but I am only getting around to share it now, real life is just super busy right now, so taking a few moments to sit down with a coffee and blog post.  I have created this using the beautiful cards from Graphic 45 that my lovely friend sherry kindly sent me, I am going to create a few wall hangings with the papers from this range when the kids are back at school next week. 

I will be back later with my finished tags for the dorthy tag swap too, thanks for popping by and have a lovely day.

p.s. excuse the pic quality, was really hard to get the full length of the bunting in one shot and more difficult to find somewhere to hang it, did'nt realise I had made it so long, got a bit carried away..ooppppssss!

I need to name three things that I like about myself and then pass this award on to 7 bloggers, the choice of recipents is very hard as you are all a great bunch of lovely people and super talented.

to name three things about myself if very difficult for me, I am always the first one to dish, give out and leave myself last, an unfortunate coping mechanism I have learned!  time for a change me thinks and this is just the push I need, maybe just maybe I will come to part believe them :)

1.  I clean, and I mean clean, like a madwoman most the time! but I think its a good thing, no germies... I hope!

2.  I sort out everyone else's problems and woes

3.  I like my creative streak, wish it was more flowing, but it is there so I suppose its good!.

now that I have named 3 things I could list a 100 that I hate, but I wont or you will all be falling into your keyboards with lovely big key indents in your face!.........god that was hard......:P

craft stash swap

recent creations

hello! how are you all, well I hope :)

I have two creations to share with you today, I made a girly birthday card, which was delivered yesterday and today I created this dress, using a template I made up myself, think I will make more of these, really enjoyed making this :)  I am working on my sons birthday card too today, he will be 11 next week, so I will share that with you when I have to done, I can share away here as he isn't blogging or near the computer so he has not chance of seeing it!  have a lovely weekend, hugs m xx
